Resume workshop from a resume writer with more than 100 5-star reviews

I will teach you how to write a great resume, using my resume template as a guide.

The template was called an “absolute gem” by an executive recruiter on LinkedIn. (You can see a screenshot of her comment on my website, www.tpipllc.com.) It is the same template I tailor and use for each of my clients. I will also answer questions about your resume and job search.

The template is part of my job search and career development guide. The guide is 45 pages, and is two separate documents. The first document is a PDF of the entire guide, which includes resume, cover letter, referral, and thank you letter templates, as well as guidelines for grammar and writing, job applications, job interviews, job offer negotiations, networking, LinkedIn profiles, and how to search while working and work while searching. The second document is an MS Word document of just the templates. One of the two cover letter templates is specifically for people who are currently unemployed.

The template and guide include many examples from actual resumes I have written for clients.

I will place both documents in the chat for attendees to download at the beginning of the workshop.

This is the itinerary for the workshop:

(1) Review of grammar and writing guidelines, including when to write or spell numbers, the correct use of abbreviations, and common grammatical mistakes.

(2) Review of resume formatting guidelines, including those involving fonts, length, mailing, margins, point size, and the correct use of tense.

(3) Review of each section of a resume, including the heading, title, summary, core competencies, experience, and education.

(4) Review of the remainder of the guide as time permits.

(5) Q&A.

I am happy to extend the workshop for longer than two hours if necessary.
