The purpose of the Rural Online Initiative (ROI) Program is to provide Utah’s rural workforce and businesses with education, training, and services for online opportunities in remote employment, freelance work, and e-commerce. This short meeting will help you begin the ROI Program process, during which you will be connected to online training and employment opportunities!

We will have experts on hand from Utah State University Extension and the Utah Department of Workforce Services to review and critique a resume as you watch and then review some of the most important resume writing skills and guidelines including:

- Targeting your resume to fit the job description

- Quantifying your accomplishments and experience

- Resume formatting, look, and feel

- and more!

Have a copy of your resume available to take notes. You'll also learn how to look at your resume alongside a job description and tweak it enough to make it through applicant tracking filters.
