About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

ReStore Volunteer Captains assist the ReStore Managers in supporting the day-to-day operations of Habitat for Humanity Chicago’s ReStore by ensuring that volunteers have a meaningful experience. They work directly with new and returning ReStore volunteers, as well as groups, to provide guidance for daily projects and to teach basic skills, as needed.

ReStore Volunteer Captains are part of Habitat Chicago’s Key Crew, launched in January 2025. Key Crew Volunteers devote their time and services on an annual basis to the mission of Habitat Chicago.

This information session will provide an overview of Key Crew requirements, ReStore Volunteer Captain responsibilities, and details for the upcoming training that will take place in late July.
