Restore the Shore: A Community Planting Day
Overview
Restore the Shore: A Community Planting Day
Event Details:
Join us in restoring the natural beauty of the Salinas River State Beach dunes! Together, we’ll plant native vegetation along a former access trail to help stabilize the dunes, strengthen coastal resilience, and create vital habitat for local wildlife. Your participation will make a lasting difference in protecting this unique coastal ecosystem.
This public planting day is part of the Monterey Bay Living Shoreline Program in collaboration with California State Parks, Central Coast Wetlands Group, Coastal Conservation and Research, California Marine Sanctuary Foundation, and Groundswell Ecology. The Monterey Bay Living Shoreline Program is funded by the State Coastal Conservancy.
