Restore + Sound with Alissa Wilmina
Overview
Restore & Sound is a 60 minute restorative yoga and sound experience designed to help you slow down, soften, and reset as we settle into the new year.
The evening will begin with a gentle sequence of restorative poses to support the body and invite ease. From there, you will be guided into an extended sound meditation, allowing the vibrations and tones to wash over you as you rest in stillness.
This offering is intentionally slow and grounding. Movement is minimal, and most of the experience will be spent lying down in a comfortable, supported position, allowing the nervous system to settle and the mind to quiet.
No prior experience with restorative yoga or sound healing is needed. Come as you are, wear something cozy, and give yourself space to pause, reflect, and restore.
All guests will receive a small curated takeaway to extend the experience at home.
About Alissa Wilmina
Alissa Wilmina is a Washington, DC based yoga and Pilates instructor and sound healing practitioner. Her work centers on creating intentional spaces for rest, nervous system regulation, and embodied presence.
She teaches throughout the DC area at studios including Equinox, Alo Yoga Georgetown, and Bright Bear Yoga NoMa. Alissa’s teaching spans a range of modalities, from strength based sculpt, yoga tone, and Pilates to restorative movement and sound meditation.
Sound healing is a central part of her work and serves as the yin to her more dynamic offerings. With a background in vinyasa yoga and sound meditation, her approach is grounded, accessible, and supportive. She weaves together gentle movement, breath, and sound to help students slow down, reconnect, and feel more at ease in their bodies.
Alissa offers group classes, private sessions, and curated wellness experiences that prioritize sustainability, care, and community.
