Awaken your Inner Harmony: Restorative and Yoga Nidra for Deep Healing and Rest

Living a life that is rooted in rest is so much more than a good night’s sleep. It’s the vital ingredient for women to live in harmony with their natural rhythms, seasons and transitions. During this time Cathy will share the benefits of restorative yoga and yoga Nidra then lovingly guide you into a safe, calming, and peaceful practice. Redefine what rest means for you and leave with a more gentle and kinder way of living softer and feeling stronger.

Yoga Nidra is a dreamy and luxurious "yogic nap" where you are guided into a "sleep state", while experiencing deep relaxation. During this deep rest you will be traveling through the physical body into the more and more subtle, nonphysical layers. The benefits of yoga nidra are deeply healing to your nervous system, melting away stress and tension.

This in-person event is centered around why rest is the ideal remedy for women who feel tired, worn out and want more energy, clarity and focus. When women take the time to regularly rest in all areas of their life, they will find their way back to freedom, joy and at home in their body. You will be able to take home these simple tools to practice rest in your life everyday. Be in circle

For this experience, it is optional for you to bring a journal, something to write with and an eye-pillow. Wear cozy and comfortable clothes and socks. Cathy will have essential oils to complement this practice along with tea to enjoy before and after.

About Cathy

After 25-plus years in education she became burnt out and overwhelmed taking care of everyone else, except herself. Cathy redefined what rest in her life means to her, embracing a new way to live and work. She helps busy women break free from cycles of unrest and misguided lifestyle choices, empowering them to reclaim their joy, freedom, and vibrant wholeness through presence and awareness. Sharing her knowledge, wisdom, and back-to-basics methods, she hopes to spread the ripple effect of remaining strong in spirit while living soft in heart with all women. You will find Cathy living her passion daily, teaching yoga, coaching 1:1 clients, and creating retreat experiences for women. She loves to read, cook and bake, spend time in nature, and with her family as much as possible. She is a life-long learner and will never stop cheering for women to come back home to their true essence and feel at home in their body, heart, and soul. Cathy holds credentials as an E-RYT Yoga Teacher, Rested Path Facilitator ®, Certified Holistic Health Coach.

Tickets are non-refundable. Please note that all events at Alnoba are rain or shine. If an event is cancelled due to extreme weather you will receive an email notification. If you do not get an email notifying you that the event is cancelled, that means the event is still going forward as scheduled.
