The City of College Park's restorative justice process has been an extension of the Lakeland community's decades-long resilience and persistent advocacy for repair. As part of this work, the African American Redress Network (AARN) has focused the past several months on performing historical research and learning from Lakeland community leadership, knowledge, and experience.
This Workshop Series is the next step of the process and invites all relevant stakeholders to collaborate in the exploration of actionable pathways for restorative justice in Lakeland. Your voice matters, and your presence is needed!
See flier below for COMPLETE event details. Note that on May 15 we will begin the afternoon session at the Lakeland College Park Community Center. Bus transportation will then be provided to City Hall for the evening session. On June 9, the afternoon and evening sessions will both be at City Hall.
Please plan to attend both days and all sessions.
