About Restorative Contact:

Restorative Contact is a mindful touch and movement practice developed and led by Gabrielle Revlock. Primarily floor-based, Restorative Contact is practiced in pairs and invites participants to slow down, notice sensation, and listen through the skin– tuning interoception, exteroception, and proprioception. Techniques that promote agency and mutuality will be offered, and we will practice the skills of gratitude and savoring, resulting in a deeper connection with self and others. Participants should expect to be in close contact with another person, engaging in mild to moderate compression, for the majority of the session. While pairing with a known partner can be particularly supportive, individuals without a pre-selected partner are warmly welcomed to join and will be partnered upon arrival, which can encourage new connections and experiences. Participants are encouraged to bring blankets and/or pillows for additional support and comfort.

"Restorative Contact" is part of the Reflection, Healing & Movement series. These programs take place in Studio 7, a fully accessible ground floor level studio.
