This event is hosted by the Colorado Section of the Society for Range Management and CSU Extension Montezuma County.

Day 1, Oct. 22 includes history of grazing and water in SW Colorado, research for reducing invasive weeds and retoration techniques, local rancher experiences, Section awards and dinner.

Day 2, Oct. 23 is a Field day of local restorated rangelands with CSU Extension and CSU's Dryland Ecology Management Lab. We'll explore rangeland soil health, restoration and grazing, hear research results from a local monitoring program, visit a local field site with researchers, landowners, and grazers, and learn from local ranchers on experiences and strategies for adpating to change.
