RESPIRATOR FIT TEST TRAIN-THE-TRAINER WORKSHOP (ENGLISH)
When: March 10th 2026 8am-2pm

Certified Applicators can earn 5 core pesticide credits (OR and WA)
This workshop taught by the Washington State Department of Agriculture is designed to provide a comprehensive respiratory protection training for growers, supervisors, respirator program administrators, and anyone in the agricultural industry.
This is a five-hour, hands-on workshop.
In this course, you will:
•Learn how to identify, use, and properly maintain a respirator.
•Learn how to develop and maintain a Written Respirator Program.
•Learn the requirements and steps to conduct a Fit Test (using irritant smoke).
•Receive a Certificate of Completion.
Participants wear a respirator during a respirator seal check and fit test exercises.
Coffee, snacks, lunch, beverages provided!
The following prerequisites are required to attend:
•Medical evaluation with clearance for use of a half-face elastomeric respirator for trainingpurposes. (Come to the FREE Respirator Fit test with the SWCD the week prior to recieve the medical evaluation! registration coming soon!)
•A clean-shaven face is required to be able toparticipate in all exercises.
