About this event
Held on the historic grounds of YWCA Kokokahi in Kāneʻohe, Resonance Rising is a four-part wellness journey designed to awaken your inner resonance through intentional connection and immersive sound healing. Each evening blends reflective conversation and a guided sound journey to help you reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the energy of the season.
We begin with community-building to foster authentic relationships, followed by a gentle breathwork practice to activate presence and prepare the body for a sound journey. Each session closes with reflection to carry your intentions forward.
No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to be present and connect with a like-minded community. Whether you're exploring new approaches to self-care or deepening your relationship with community, this series offers a welcoming space to pause, reflect, and rise. Each session centers around a unique theme—grounding, relational flow, emotional depth, and visionary expression.
Whether you join us for one night or all four, come as you are, leave more connected, clear, and empowered. This is a safe space for all bodies.
Evening Themes:
October 16 – Rooted Connection: Explore what grounds you—through breath, story, and shared presence. This evening invites you to reconnect with your inner strength and cultural roots.
October 23 – Relational Flow: Step into the rhythm of connection. Guided by the energy of renewal, this night supports intuitive bonding and gentle community building.
November 6 – Emotional Resonance: Honor your emotional truth. This evening offers space to feel deeply, release gently, and transform through sound and shared vulnerability.
November 13 – Vision & Voice: Activate your purpose and speak your truth. This closing night celebrates clarity, empowerment, and the manifestation of your intentions.

About YWCA Kokokahi:
Founded in 1927 by Dr. Theodore Richards, Kokokahi was envisioned as a place where people of all races could gather as “one blood.” In a time of segregation, it stood as a bold symbol of unity and healing. Today, Kokokahi continues that legacy through the YWCA’s commitment to inclusivity and racial equity.
Set on 11 acres of lush waterfront property in Kāneʻohe, Kokokahi offers versatile spaces for wellness and community gatherings—including an event hall with kitchen, pool, open fields, classrooms, overnight lodge, cabins, and tent camping.
