Resin Lava Flow - Mapunapuna

Bring home a reminder of this moment in time, when the volcanoes of Hawai'i are erupting with power! Malia will guide you through the techniques involved to create a lava-like resin piece.

This multi-media project involves using Heavy Gel Medium, paint and sand to create the cooled-lava areas, with more acrylic paint and 2-part epoxy resin used to evoke the fiery flow of fresh lava. You will learn how to use all these materials properly in order to create your one-of-a-kind art piece.

• River Board Wood Plaque

All other materials are included!

Your finished work will require a 24- hour drying period and can be collected at the store the next day.
