This is a two-day evidence-based training. Maximum of 20 students.

Addresses auditory and visual trauma exposure, critical incidentstress, and cumulative emotional fatigue.

Offers practical techniques for in-the-moment stress regulation, emotional processing, and communication during high-pressure events.

Complies with Maryland SB838 and SB633, emphasizing confidential access and occupational wellness.

Integrates CISM principles, PTSD prevention, and peer support training.

Includes modules on sleep optimization, burnout prevention, and wellness planning

Training Components Include:

Understanding nervous system responses to trauma (PolyvagalTheory)

Core DBT skills: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness

HeartMath breathing and coherence techniques for selfregulation

Role-play scenarios for difficult calls, debriefings, and peer support

Creation of a Personal Crisis Action Plan for ongoing wellness
