Overview

Bring your little one out to a special Basics workshop at Henry Park.

Join us on Friday, February 6th at Henry Memorial Park for an interactive workshop where parents/caregivers and their children will learn how to “Maximize Love and Minimize Stress” through engaging activities.

2:30 PM - 3:00 PM we will have snacks and resources on the green.

3:00 PM the program starts with 15-20 minutes of Basics activities focusing on our theme of "Maximize Love and Minimize Stress" followed by 15-20 minutes of instruction from Jillian Dillard, founder of Freedom Youth Yoga. We will end our time together with free play and mingling.

Ideal for children aged 3-5 years old along with their accompanying parent/caregiver.

About Jillian Dillard:

Jillian Dillard, a former high school English teacher, wondered how the world might change if children learned mindful breathing and movement from an early age. In 2018, she founded Freedom Youth Yoga to empower kids and teens across metro Atlanta with these evidence-based, life-changing tools. Jillian is passionate about making yoga accessible to all, especially in underserved communities. Although she spent years teaching teenagers, it wasn’t until a preschooler joyfully echoed the words “Peace Begins with Me” that she knew she had found her true calling.
