Utah Section SRM Annual Meeting

The Utah Section of the Society for Range Management (SRM) originated in 1949 in Salt Lake City with 22 members. Today, the section has grown to 200 members, representing all those who manage, conserve, and enjoy Utah’s rangelands. This year the section is trying to focus on the Resilience on the Range: Profitable, Sustainable, Successful.


Agenda Highlights:

Dave Voth, a Director from the Parent Society, will be addressing the group.

Corrine Knapp from the University of Wyoming will be presenting on Climate change, agency decision-making, and the resilience of land-based livelihoods.

Larissa Yocom will be presenting on Aspen as Fuel Breaks Modeling Fuel Treatment Effectiveness
