Virtual panel discussion featuring community development experts about the role of gender, race, and resilience in the post-COVID-19 economy

About this event

LET'S LOOK FORWARD:

Join Michigan Women Forward for a virtual discussion featuring some of the top experts in community development in Michigan. This event will bring together a panel to discuss pathways for growth in the “new normal” post-COVID-19 economy. How will gender and race play a role in resilience and prosperity in the years to come? Is e-commerce the way of the future?

This event is presented by Independent Bank.

Panelists are:

Whitney Anderson-Herrell: Chief Community Development Officer at MSU Federal Credit Union and President of the Desk Drawer Fund

Laura Sigmon: President and CEO of Best Practices Consulting Services

Tony Willis: Chief Equity Development Officer at LEAP (Lansing Economic Area Partnership)

The panel will be moderated by Jennifer Feuerstein, Associate State Director of AARP.
