'Resilience and Personal Change' as part of Leeds Wellbeing Week
Event Information
Description
Understanding your reactions to change and challenge.
The world is always changing around us so it is vital that we are able to feel in control of the changes we want to make to learn and grow. Why is it that change can feel so daunting? Why can that little voice inside our head be so unhelpful at times?
This workshop will draw on neurology, education, wellbeing and the world of business to help you understand your behaviour patterns and create new habits that allow you to be more resilient.
Topics covered will include; the stages of learning, the comfort/stretch model, brain neurology, behavioural change matrix and growth mindset.
By taking a tour of these models you will be able to set small goals for positive habits that add up to big changes.
This is an online live session you can enjoy from your living room (or any other room!). Once you have booked your ticket, you will receive a confirmation email including the link on which you can click to join the live session on the date and time of the event! We use Zoom (www.zoom.us), which is free to use. Make sure you download it beforehand to be all ready when the live session starts!
