Everyone can keep waste out of the landfill and produce valuable soil nutrients with the City for Fort Worth Residential Food Waste Composting program.

Subscribers to this program pay a one-time, $20 subscription fee. That small fee goes to support the program and provides subscribers with the following:

• A kitchen counter-top pail to collect food scraps

• A 5 gallon container for transport

• Educational materials on composting, including what can and cannot be composted as part of this program

• Access to any of the compost collection sites across Fort Worth

Fort Worth residents are invited to participate in this exciting program! More details (where to pick up your starter kit, where to take your waste, and more) can be found at: https://www.fortworthtexas.gov/departments/environmental-services/solidwaste/food-scrap-compost
