Residency Info Session 2026

If you're interested in sharing the studio with other emerging and mid-career artists to pursue your own work, join The Steel Yard on Thursday, January 15th at 6:30 - 8 pm for a streaming information session regarding the upcoming residency season.

The residency program at The Yard is a competitive program that assists artists in growing and strengthening their art practice in a supportive, cooperative environment through access to the studios, tools, resources, and support. If you're thinking of applying or reapplying, to the program, attending this information session is highly encouraged.

This session will be live via zoom and will be hosted by MJ Sanqui, The Steel Yard's Residency Coordinator, and Studio Director, CJ Jimenez. They'll discuss the benefits and expectations of the residency program; and answer questions you might have about the program, the studios, or your application.
