5-Week Journey to Reset the Nervous System & Release Past Trauma

Have you been feeling it’s time to let go of the past?
The body holds memory. It carries our stories, our protective responses, and sometimes our pain. But it is also an instrument of profound change.

This 5-week Kundalini Rebirth series, led by certified yoga instructor Kira Anthofer, is designed to help you reset and regulate your nervous system while gently releasing the imprints of past trauma that no longer serve you. Through breath, sound, and intentional movement, you’ll create space for healing and renewal.

Series Overview

When we experience trauma or stress, our bodies instinctively choose to fight, flee, or freeze. Those responses often get “stuck” within us—living in our tissues, nervous system, and subconscious.

This series creates a safe container to release what was once needed in the moment but is no longer necessary today. Using the sacred technology of Kundalini Yoga, you’ll experience:

  • Breathwork to regulate the nervous system
  • Chanting & Sound to clear blocked energy
  • Kriya (intentional movement) to reset body patterns
  • Nidra (deep meditation) to integrate mind-body-heart alignment

This is not a typical yoga class centered on poses. Instead, the focus is on breath, sound, and spine-based practices that open pathways for release, healing, and rebirth.

What to Expect Each Class

  • Gentle chanting to attune your vibration
  • Guided breathwork to clear the nervous system
  • Intentional kriya practices to release stored energy
  • Meditation & relaxation for integration
  • Optional journaling for reflection and self-awareness

What to Bring

  • Notebook & pen (for journaling right after class)
  • Water bottle
  • Tissues (breathwork may naturally release nasal passages)

Mats and cushions are provided.

About Your Guide

Kira Anthofer is a certified yoga teacher dedicated to creating spaces of healing, self-expression, and inner alignment. With years of experience guiding individuals through practices of presence and renewal, she gently holds space for you to reconnect with your authentic self.

Her classes are inclusive, accessible, and heart-centered. You’ll be supported to “go where you want to go” at your own pace.

Schedule & Details

  • Every Wednesday evening in October
  • 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM (arrive 10 minutes early)
  • Small group, intimate setting
  • Plenty of free parking at the venue
  • Ages 18+

New attendees may join during the first two weeks. To receive the full benefit, we recommend completing the entire 5-week series.
