Event description

Description

The research data management (RDM) landscape in Canada is rapidly evolving - from funder policies, to institutional strategies, data management planning, data deposit and beyond! Join us for a day of interactive RDM information sharing and training on August 28th!

The ULethbridge RDM Day will be delivered by James Doiron, the Research Data Management Services Coordinator for the University of Alberta Libraries, and will offer a wide range of applied learning and information sessions, as well as discussions regarding the changing landscape, including the 2018 draft Tri-Agency Research Data Management Policy, which demonstrates both the importance of RDM and some of the challenges faced by researchers and institutions regarding the management of research data. Participants will additionally learn about a number of RDM related supports and services that are freely available to use! View the full RDM Day agenda here!

If you are involved in research then RDM Day will be of interest to you, and attendance is open to everyone!
