From the beginning moments of life, rhythm serves as a foundational experience that helps form the earliest connections in the developing child’s brain. Unfortunately, for many children, chaos and unpredictability is the norm – for these children, self-regulation is allusive while overreacting to the smallest of challenges.
This session will focus on the importance of and how to intentionally infuse repetition, rhythm and relationships into mental health and trauma treatment. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of how structure serves has a regulating mechanism on the path to felt safety for their clients and families.
This training is free but there is a $20 charge for participants requesting CE hours.
