Remote Recording Basics for Performers and Composers
Hosted by Encompass Music Partners
Please join us at the historic Evergreen Studio A for a seminar with two-time Grammy Award-winning Engineer, Scott Michael Smith! This event will be tailored to the at-home studio musician, whether you are a working session player or a composer looking to track your own instruments in your music. Scott will be demonstrating the workflow for at-home recording, including room treatment, proper equipment, mic placement, and DAW operations. Professional musicians will be demonstrating recording and multitracking live in the room during the event.
A Sales Engineer from the professional audio retailer Vintage King will be in attendance to provide support for potential gear, as well as to offer exclusive discounts on equipment.
Lunch will be provided!
