Remembering Our Roots: Cacao & Connection Circle

We aren’t machines—and we’re not just a part of nature… we are nature. Our bodies, our rhythms, our emotions—they all mirror the earth. And while hustle and output might be glorified, there’s a quieter wisdom waiting for us when we slow down.

This circle is a chance to remember. To sip warm ceremonial cacao, root into the ground beneath you, and reconnect with what’s real. Through grounding practices, gentle connection, breathwork and reflective journaling, we’ll explore how nature teaches us to be patient like trees, generous like rivers, powerful like mountains, and unafraid like the wild.

This is a space to soften, to listen inward, and to remember who you are—beyond the roles, the doing, the noise.

What Past Participants Are Saying:

"Jenny’s cacao ceremony felt like a soul reset. I walked in carrying so much and left with the clarity I didn’t even know I needed."

"It was gentle, but powerful. Like my heart opened quietly and saw things I hadn’t been able to see before."

"This ceremony reminded me to slow down—not just for a night, but in how I live. It stayed with me for weeks. I started taking mid-day walks and unplugging more."

"After the ceremony, I saw where I was out of balance so I changed my work schedule to take on less—and I haven’t looked back!"

"I didn’t know what to expect to be honest but I'm so glad I went— I left feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected to myself."

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have experience with cacao or ceremonies to join?

Not at all. This space is open to everyone—whether it's your first ceremony or you’ve sat in many. You’ll be gently guided the whole way.

What is ceremonial cacao?

Ceremonial cacao is pure, minimally processed cacao used intentionally to support heart-opening, presence, and connection. It’s different from cocoa or chocolate—it contains no sugar and is prepared with reverence.

What if I don’t like the taste of cacao or can’t drink it?

That’s okay! You can still fully participate in the ceremony and connection practices. Cacao is offered as a supportive element, not a requirement.

What should I bring?

Please bring a journal, pen, water bottle, and anything that helps you feel grounded—like a blanket, cushion, or comfy layers. A yoga mat or something to sit on is helpful too. I do have extra mats and blankets :)

What do you mean by “plant medicine”? Is cacao a psychedelic?

When we say plant medicine, we’re referring to cacao in its pure, ceremonial form—a sacred plant used for centuries to open the heart and invite presence. It is not a psychedelic and won’t alter your consciousness. Cacao is gentle, grounding, and supportive—often described as a subtle heart opener
