Most people think gratitude is a mindset. In reality, it starts in the body. When we’re stressed, overwhelmed, or moving too fast, it’s almost impossible to feel grateful—no matter how hard we try to remain thankful.
This class is about changing that pattern.
Through intentional breathing, you’ll shift your body out of that constant alert state and into a place where you can actually register where you are most grateful in your life. When the breath allows us to access more, the mind clears. And from there, gratitude becomes natural—not something you force once a year.
In this session, we’ll focus on:
- Using the breath to create calm and clarity
- Simple, science-backed techniques that make gratitude easier to access
- Noticing the small moments you usually miss because you’re moving too fast
- Building a daily, all-year-long relationship with appreciation—not just a November habit

WHAT TO EXPECT
We’ll use a conscious, circular breath—about 90% in, 90% out—in a steady, rhythmic pattern over an extended period of time. We will also do a few breath retentions and other patterns to induce different effects.
Within minutes, your thinking mind will begin to soften, and you will enter a trance-like state. When you surrender to the breath, the body begins to release on its own: crying, shaking, movement, sound. These expressions are completely normal and are part of the body’s natural process of releasing stored energy and emotion.
This is about surrender and allowing.You will be guided and supported in a trauma-informed space where your system can process what your mind alone cannot.

This session includes loud music, intense somatic release, and emotional expression.Screaming, crying, shaking, or sounding are all welcome and common in this space. If you're sensitive to emotional intensity or sound, this may not be the right fit.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
This breathwork session is not suitable for individuals who:
• Are pregnant
• Have high blood pressure
• Experience seizures or epilepsy
• Have a serious heart condition
• Have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder or schizophrenia
