Reliability & Security Workshop and WICF Meeting

We are excited to announce our fall Reliability & Security Workshop, where you can gain essential insights into the Western Interconnection. This two-day event focuses on risk-based, technical content designed to tackle the challenges you face every day and is recommended for practitioners of technical work and subject-matter experts.

New Workshop Format:

Day One:

Kick off the workshop with our general sessions that will introduce five critical reliability risks affecting the Western Interconnection. Our expert speakers will explain these risks, their potential effects, and why they matter to your organization.

Day Two:

Choose between two new specialized tracks:

Small to Medium Entities or Large Entities

These tracks will offer a deeper dive into the risks discussed on Day One, with practical insights tailored to your organization’s size and risk needs. You'll explore standards, compliance elements, and gain access to valuable resources and tools from WECC programs.

Workshop Highlights:

• Breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks included on October 14 and 15.
• Join an evening reception on October 14 featuring hors d’oeuvres, one complimentary beverage ticket, and cash bar.
• Take part in the Dine-Around on October 14 where you can connect with your peers and WECC staff while enjoying the flavors of San Diego. (Participants are responsible for the cost of their meal.)
• All general and track sessions will be recorded and made available to participants following the workshop.
