Nancy J. Bearg
Ms. Nancy Bearg had a distinguished career in international relations and national security at the highest levels of government and non-profits. She worked at the White House for three presidents, including as the first woman National Security Advisor to the Vice President of the United States. She was President and CEO of an international development non-profit, among other non-profit jobs. Other major jobs were in Congress and at the Department of Defense. After government, she reinvented into careers in university teaching: Leadership Vision and Strategy (in Washington DC) and Change and Innovation (Willamette University business school) and as a business woman.
In 2008, Nancy co-founded Reboot Partners LLC, which is focused on people moving into their next chapter. Other reinventions by Nancy are as a volunteer for post-conflict peacebuilding and development of women and girls (mainly overseas), horse photographer, and grandmother. Her BA is from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, and her Masters in Public Administration is from the Harvard Kennedy School. She has written seven books.
Nancy moved to Portland in 2017 after over 40 years in Washington DC.
