About this event

Join the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (IMPO) alongside planners from across the region to learn more about the IMPO, its work, and discuss current topics of interest. This series is currently scheduled to occur on a quarterly basis with each meeting focusing on a particular topic such as housing, trail-oriented development, traffic safety, and more. Other staff which did not receive this email are welcome to come – please forward to any who are interested and we may have missed. We hope you can “take a break and coordinate” with us in this series intended to improve cross-jurisdictional communication and awareness!

About the IMPO: The Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (IMPO) is Central Indiana’s federally-designated regional planning organization. The IMPO creates and implements short and long range plans to advance the region’s goals in transportation, economic development, housing, safety, sustainability, and other quality of life issues. The IMPO is also responsible for distributing certain federal transportation funds for roads, transit, trails, and other means of moving people and goods around Central Indiana. Our planning region includes almost 1,500 square miles, 36 jurisdictions, and approximately 1.78 million residents.
