We’re thrilled to invite you to our 2025 Region D Regional Gathering! This year’s theme — Stories that Sustain: Building Resilient Parent Centers — celebrates the powerful work happening in our communities and the narratives that fuel our mission.

🗓️ Dates & Schedule:

September 9–11, 2025


Start: Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 8:30 AM sharp

End: Thursday, Sept. 11, by 3:00 PM ☕ Breakfast and 🍽️ lunch provided each day — dinner is on your own.

Plan on arriving the night before (Monday, Sept. 8) to settle in and be ready to kick off bright and early on Tuesday! Gathering packets will be available for pickup early evening on Monday night and the morning of the 9th.


🧳 Travel & Lodging:

Each center is responsible for booking travel and lodging. We’ve secured a group rate of $150 per night (plus tax/fees) at the DoubleTree. The room block covers check-in starting Monday night through Friday if needed.

💵 Travel Stipend:

Each center will receive $500 to apply toward hotel or airfare expenses.

🚖 Transportation Tips: The hotel is about 20 minutes from Sacramento International Airport (SMF) via taxi, Uber, or Lyft. It’s also just 8 miles from downtown Sacramento, giving you plenty of nearby options to explore.

We will focus on a single but important topic for this event – all aspects of Staff Development, from before you hire the right people, on-boarding and supervision, ongoing training and retention. We will feature plenary sessions, engaging speakers, and opportunities for interactions with your peers.
