Regenerative Economies Reception

By Joella hogan

Overview

Gather, connect, and celebrate how land, culture, and community values shape the future of regenerative Indigenous economies.

Rooted in the heart of Mayo, Yukon, this project is an Indigenous-led initiative by the Yukon Soaps Company that explores how local economies can grow in balance with the land. Funded by the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency, the project supports land-based employment, traditional harvesting, and small business incubation

Join us for a gathering of stories, conversation, and celebration as we share the journey of the Regenerative Economies Project in partnership with community members, Elders, and collaborators from across the North.

This relaxed evening will feature:

🪶 A short film screening about the project and its impact

🌿 Reflections from Joella Hogan and Panel of special guests

💬 Open community dialogue on building regenerative economies

🍲 Local appetizers and refreshments by Ally Cat Catering

Everyone is welcome. Come connect, share, and be inspired by what’s growing in the North.

Hosted in partnership with the Yukon Soaps Company, the Regenerative Economies Project team
