Join me in Reefton for a fun and creative 2-hour workshop where you’ll learn to craft your very own unique mug, fun thing is, no pottery wheel needed!
I’ll guide you through the pinch pot method and demonstrate how to create a one-of-a-kind mug, from classic forms to quirky creations like boob mugs or face mugs. Then it’s your turn! Whether you’re after a bold and sculptural piece or something simple and functional, the possibilities are endless.
This workshop is perfect for absolute beginners! No experience necessary. It’s a relaxed, hands-on class suitable for ages 12+.
Included in the Workshop Fee:
✔️ All clay and materials
✔️ Use of tools
✔️ Instruction and guidance
✔️ Glazing and two firings
✔️ One finished mug (ready in 6–8 weeks)
✔️ Optional but you’re welcome to bring your own snacks!
Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting clay on. If you have long nails and if you are pregnant, please bring your own surgical gloves. Long nails can create cracks in your piece before it even reaches the kiln.
Do you offer booking deposit?
If you want to book and wants to pay half of the full amount, message me at 022 691 1883 to secure your spot. A 50% deposit is required via bank transfer, with the remaining balance due on the day. Please note: deposits are non-refundable as materials and prep will already be arranged.
