Rooted in queer history and lived experience, this event features a newly commissioned music performance by Welsh-Australian artist Niamh Jacqueline O’Donnell, accompanied by portrait-based visual art by Darren Varnam*.
A panel discussion with artists, healthcare professionals, and community voices, offers space for reflection and conversation, followed by a music performance of a piano trio: saxophone, violin and piano.
Funded by the the Arts Council Wales and Ty Cerdd, in partnership with the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Fast Track Cymru, NHS professionals, local Council, and leading HIV activists, Prosiect Rhuban Rhudd invites audiences to consider how art can challenge stigma, celebrate courage, and imagine a hopeful future.
"A beautiful and honest collaboration where art speaks louder than fear."
