About this event

Steaksman, friends and family,

On Thursday, September 25th we once again have the ability to help one of our own's child's legacy live forever.

In PRIME Red Meat Lover's Club fashion, we will gather and consume.

In a COED fashion.

Thank you to Jarred Smoke, our Partner in Prime, for introducing the club to Amy and Darren Buchbinder.

As a father and the Secretary of Steak, I am honored to partner the Red Meat Lover's Club with this foundation in honor of Blake.

We will raise our forks and auction hands high for Play For Blake, 501c3 created to honor Blake's legacy.

The Secretary of Steak will be putting together one of the best live auction lineups ever.

This night will be full of love, full of laughs and we will channel our inner Blake. The Red Meat Lover's Club will do everything we can to make sure Blake's legacy is strong and enduring.

100% of all auction proceeds/profits will benefit Blake's non- profit, Play For Blake.

Sexzchef, Jason Savino and the entire Potions in Motion team will be creating a feast only the Red Meat Lover's Club is able to inspire.

An open bar will be had by all and all the creative powers we can put into this evening to make it a memorable night for everyone in attendance.

In Blake we trust,

Evan Darnell

About Blake

Remembering Blake Buchbinder: Honoring a Life Cut Short On June 14, 2023, our community suffered a heartbreaking loss when Blake, a vibrant and beloved teenager, was tragically killed in a bicycle accident. In his short time with us, Blake touched the lives of many with his infectious laughter, crazy jokes, kindness, and zest for life and all things sports, his humor showed just how smart he was, especially understanding people. He had a soul. He was sweet and caring and seeing him made you want to hug him.

As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we come together to support Blake’s family, Darren, Amy and Alexis, in their time of need. The sudden and unexpected nature of this tragedy has placed an immense burden on them and we want to alleviate some of that burden by raising funds to show our support and love. Blake, you’ve brought us so much laughter, smiles, and you’ve always kept us on our toes. Your love for sports is infectious and you are incredible at everything you put your mind to. We’ve loved watching you grow into such a wonderful young man, son, brother, grandson and friend and we will miss you more than we could ever put into words.

About Play for Blake

Founded in 2023, The Play for Blake Foundation has made a meaningful impact on middle school soccer programs across Palm Beach County—and beyond. By distributing over 2,500 soccer balls to local schools and expanding our reach internationally, we’re helping ensure that children everywhere have the opportunity to experience the joy of the game.

Looking ahead to the 2025–2026 soccer seasons, we are excited to grow our mission even further. With innovative initiatives and a deep commitment to youth development, we aim to build confidence, foster teamwork, and teach essential life skills to economically disadvantaged kids—both locally and around the world.

Join us in honoring Blake’s legacy—empowering young hearts through the power of soccer.
