Red Hook Open Studios is a free annual event that takes place in the richly
historic and once-infamous Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn. During one
weekend in October, the talented artists and makers in the area open their
work spaces to the public, offering a rare, up-close look at how they create.
Visitors also have the chance to purchase art directly from the creators
themselves.
This year marks our 10th RHOS and to celebrate we have organized the
RHOS Sculpture Garden in Erie Basin Park behind Ikea,Brooklyn.
12 artists will be featured with sculptures and performance art.
Red Hook Open Studios is organized by artist volunteers to promote their
creative community and to show off one of the city’s great locations.
