Red Dot Sight Pistol (RDS) 1

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Taught by Certified Red Dot Sight Instructors, the RDS Pistol class is designed for those who have basic familiarization with the Pistol. We will be focusing on the vital elements and Fundamentals of transitioning from Iron sights to a RDS equipped pistol.

We will cover topics such as:

• Overview of Red Dot Specific equipment, maintenance, mounting, and malfunctions
• Zeroing procedure
• Finding, tracking, and re-acquiring the dot after reload
• One handed shooting, and weapon manipulation
• Multiple shooting drills and techniques using your RDS

This course is taught by certified Red Dot Sights Pistol (RDS) instructors who are also certified in Marksmanship Coaching, Concealed Carry and Home Defense, and Defenseive Shooting.

PREREQUISITES:

Basic pistol course.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

• Instruction by Red Dot Certified Firearms Instructor
• Range Fees
• It is recommended that you use your own firearm, You will need to provide 200 rounds of ammunition for the firearm, this can be purchased in the classroom prior to class.

SUPPLY LIST:

• 2-3 magazines for semi-automatic pistols*
• Safety glasses* (available to borrow)
• Hearing Protection* (available to borrow)
• 200 Rounds of ammunition for your firearm* - this must be purchased before class begins. .22, 9mm, & 40 Cal are available to purchase in classroom, please arrive 10 mins early to the classroom to make your purchase
