Recruitment and Team Building for Growth
Overview
Getting the right people working IN, WITH, and FOR your business: an interactive workshop for entrepreneurs that can’t (or won’t) keep doing it all themselves.
This is a four-hour webinar designed for business leaders who need to grow but don’t know how to find other people to help build the business.
Your skills and passion form the heart of your business and have contributed to much of its success so far. However, none of us are perfect and this session will help you analyse what strengths others could bring to complete the picture – and how to tailor your recruitment process to find them.
If you are the founder, no one else has your commitment or passion for the business. We will enable you to find people with similar passions, then align their vision, values, and purpose with yours, so that you can all thrive and be the best that you can be.
You may worry about whether your business can afford employees, or whether the benefits of bringing them in will outweigh the risks. If you have started worrying about it, it is time to start working through it; planning the right course of action and getting it done so you can focus on the stuff that only you can really do.
Learning Objectives
Working with others in similar positions, exploring ideas and tools that work, you will:
· Identify what you (and only you) bring to your business
· Select those things that others could do better, faster, or cheaper
· Weigh up the options of finding them and bringing them into the business, full-time, part-time, or only when you need them
Workshop Outline
Getting the right people working IN, WITH, and FOR your business is a four-hour interactive webinar for people starting a business, who now need other people to work with them to get things moving on. We will start by seeing what you do best, and things you have had to do to get things going. Where others can do it more effectively, the next step is to identify how you want it done. Hiring people can be risky and expensive, so we will look at alternatives, such as outsourcing or using freelancers, to reduce the risk and costs. This flexibility also makes sense when it comes to employing people. Not all jobs are full time, and not everyone can or wants to work that way. We will look at the options available to you and help you plan how to get them onboard, train them, keep them, and deal with them when things go wrong. Possibly the hardest part for us (and you) will be helping you decide which jobs to delegate and how to make that happen!
