Learn to trace a pattern from your own favorite article of clothing to create your own clones! Participants should bring one or two articles of clothing they want to recreate, with only minor adjustments needed, if any. Pants, shirts, skirts, and simple dresses are all okay. Participants may bring their own fabric to trace onto for a new garment, or create a paper pattern to use in perpetuity. Participants will leave the class with everything they need to sew a clone garment on their own time (or at a Trans Tailoring meetup!). Materials will be provided.
$10/person
No one will be turned away due to lack of funds. If $10 is not an accessible option for you, please send us an email at hello@prototypepgh.org to RSVP for this workshop. You will not be asked to explain your financial situation.
