The Indiana Society of Periodontists is excited to invite you to our upcoming event at Graham Rahal's Wheelhouse Social Club in Zionsville, Indiana on Friday, October 31st, 2025, registration will start at 8:00AM, light breakfast will be provided, and the lecture will be held from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
We are honored to welcome distinguished speaker, Dr. Paul Fugazzotto presenting:“Reconstructive Success, Not Merely Survival: Raising the Bar in Clinical Practice.”
Dr. Fugazzotto’s presentation will explore how advances in diagnosis, regenerative therapies, and implant prosthetics—facilitated by easily mastered digital workflows—have dramatically altered the landscape of clinical practice. There is no reason to talk about "survival" rather than "success." We do not even have to accept a therapeutic success rate of 95% (a 1 in 20 failure rate!).
True success mandates a rethinking of our examination, diagnostic, and treatment planning postulates; a logical decision tree for tooth retention or removal; redefinition of success following regenerative therapies; and placement of greater demands by the restorative dentist upon the surgical member of the team. The seamless integration of digital technologies into everyday practice helps us accomplish these goals, while a new understanding of the causes of post-therapeutic complications ensures long-term success.
