Workshop Description

Don’t toss those worn-out jeans—transform them into a one-of-a-kind bag instead! Join Jaron Fonseca, founder of Jayavelli, for a hands-on sewing class where you’ll learn how to deconstruct your denim and reconstruct it into a stylish, functional bag that’s truly your own. Learn upcycling techniques to keep your loved items in your home for longer and out of the textile waste stream.

Basic sewing machine skills (threading and straight stitching) are required. Machines will be provided, but feel free to bring your own!
