Step onto the trail and into Southern Utah’s living landscape story.

Join Tony McCammon, founder of Bloom Horticulture Specialists, for a transformative hike that explores the hidden world of native plants, ancient knowledge, and the natural intelligence of the desert.

On this guided hike, Tony will share powerful insights into ethnobotany, the ancient relationship between people and plants, and stories of survival, stewardship, and healing deeply rooted in the soils of Southern Utah.
You'll see beyond the stunning landscapes into the unseen: how plants communicate, adapt, and support life, and how reconnecting with them can reconnect us to ourselves and the Earth.

Hike Description:

A moderate 3-mile out-and-back hike through Fossil Canyon, a hidden gem straddling the border of St. George, Utah, and Arizona. This scenic trail winds through a stunning desert canyon known for its fossil-lined walls, unique rock formations, and peaceful, remote atmosphere.

Expect light elevation gain, gentle terrain, and a few rocky sections that require sure footing. This hike is suitable for most fitness levels, but we recommend wearing sturdy shoes, bringing plenty of water, and being prepared for sun exposure, as there is limited shade along the way.

We’ll move at a conversational pace, allowing time to connect, reflect, and take in the natural beauty. Perfect for those seeking a deeper connection with themselves and the desert.
