This interactive 3 hour training equips educators, clinicians, early childhood staff, and caregivers with practical tools to recognize and respond to early signs of neurodivergence and mental health concerns in children ages 3 to 8. Participants will explore the developmental markers of conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, anxiety, and attachment challenges, with attention to cultural and contextual factors that can impact behavior and referral decisions. The session emphasizes trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate observation strategies and collaborative approaches to early intervention.

Through case studies, guided discussion, and evidence-based frameworks, attendees will learn to differentiate between typical developmental variation and early warning signs, make informed referrals, and work effectively with families and school-based teams to support the whole child.
