Participants will spend time diving into different types of maltreatment of children. They will identify indicators of abuse and neglect and learn the strategies needed to report suspected abuse.

Training Objectives:

1 . By the end of this session, learners will identify four different types of maltreatment.

2 . By the end of this session, learners will determine possible indicators of abuse and neglect.

3 . By the end of this session, learners will apply strategies to determine when and how to report suspected child maltreatment.

Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
