Rebuilding Smarter Ceremony
Overview
Rebuild Altadena invites you to a special community open house and celebration marking a powerful milestone in our recovery journey. Nearly a year after the Eaton Canyon Fire changed our community forever, the first wave of new, fire-resilient homes is beginning to rise — and we’re opening the doors for neighbors to come see what’s possible.
Led by David Ly, local resident and fire survivor, Rebuild Altadena was created to make the rebuilding process easier, more affordable, and more compassionate for our community. Through bulk-buy cost savings, transparent guidance, and a neighbor-first approach, we’re committed to helping Altadena families come home again.
Join us as we:
- Celebrate the start of construction on some of the first new homes in this phase
- Share more about the innovative, fire-resilient building methods being introduced in our area
- Connect neighbors with resources, support, and the Rebuild Altadena team
- Honor the resilience, strength, and spirit that make Altadena home
Whether you’re actively rebuilding, exploring your options, or simply want to understand what’s happening in our community — this event is for you. Come learn, connect, and see firsthand how we’re rebuilding Altadena stronger than ever.
