Description
Rebirth and Rediscovery is an collaborative and interactive performing arts experience, presented by Danko Productions.
This unique community event features a specially crafted compilation of contemporary dance and music performances by local and guest artists. In addition, there will be a fashion show filled with pieces to enhance your visual experience.
Rebirth & Rediscovery was specially designed to invoke reflection on interpersonal relationships and those in the larger community. The goal is to bring together artists to promote social change by educating & unifying all members of the audience and within the Boston community. The aim is to have the participants reflect on these issues by helping to create a community mural, dancing with the performers and through experiencing all elements within the show.
We want all participants to feel as though they have learned something from experiencing this show. It’s the hope of Danko that attendees leave understanding they are empowered individuals who can help promote positive changes in their lives and in their own communities.

The mission of DanKo Productions is to use the arts, as an educational tool for mind, body, and spirit. We focus on three principles; the use of movement for physical healing, social education, and empowerment.
We provide a holistic approach to teaching in order to offer a therapeutic and empowering experience for our students. DanKo offers a variety of dance and movement classes for kids, teens, and adults of all abilities, throughout metro Boston.We also create unique classes and workshops, based on the needs of our partners and the community.
DanKo was established in 2014 by a local Boston Public School teacher, Katina McClain, who has been an educator and performing artist for over 15 years. Her goal was to combine her love of education, wellness, and the performing arts, and use it as a life educational tool for all.
