About this event

Rob Bernstein

President, RGB Capital Group LLC

Seeking Reasonable Returns While Reducing Risk – A Practical Approach To Investing

All investors are routinely challenged with market uncertainties. Rob Bernstein will share his well-tested portfolio strategy that seeks to provide market beating long-term returns at a fraction of the risk. He will detail how the strategy performed during the recent coronavirus pandemic market sell-off and how you can identify opportunities that typically arise following a market crash. This discussion will provide you tools and tactical strategies to construct a low-risk portfolio, give you an exit strategy for market turns down, help manage through volatile bear markets, and give you the confidence to invest money that has been sitting on the sidelines after the crisis has passed.

1. How to effectively measure investment risk

2. Why managing risk doesn’t mean giving up on returns…in fact, quite the opposite

3. Specific tools to help you manage through the next bear market

Rob Bernstein is the President of RGB Capital Group LLC where he manages personal and client portfolios. Driven by the economic decline during the 2008 bear market, Mr. Bernstein started RGB Capital Group in August 2009 to help others avoid life altering declines. Prior to starting RGB Capital Group, he was a consultant with Deloitte & Touche for over 11 years and served four years as Chief Information Officer at Newland Communities, a real estate development company.

Mr. Bernstein has a B.A. in Quantitative Economics and Decision Sciences from the University of California, San Diego and an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from William E. Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. In addition, Mr. Bernstein holds a Series 65 License, has a CPA license (retired), is the President of the American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) San Diego Chapter and serves on the board of the National Association of Active Investment Managers.
