I’m going to go over different ways to think about and approach real estate investing and the math behind it. Whether it’s buying your primary residence, deciding to sell/rent your home, or buying rental properties, I'll show you some math to help you make educated decisions every step of the way!

We’ll cover how purchasing a primary residence differs from buying an investment property, both in terms of the features that matter and the numbers you should run like CAP rate and measuring cash-on-cash return. You’ll also learn how the offer process works, strategies to consider when competing in the Bay Area market, and frameworks for making the big-picture decision: rent vs. buy, or if you’re moving, sell vs. rent out your home. We’ll also look at some data from the SF market we can use along the way.
