About this event

Family & Education • Education

In this 8-week course, kids ages 3-5 and their caregivers are invited to come build the skills needed for preschool and kindergarten. We will meet each Wednesday at 11am to read stories and learn literacy concepts, work on fine and gross motor skills, learn colors, shapes, and numbers, practice with scissors, and more! This requires both child and caregiver participation, and extra resources will be given to take home as well.

Note: There is no storytime October 8th due to staff development.

Please email madkins@detroitpubliclibrary.org to complete registration; some materials are personalized so having your child's name and age helps.

All children who attend at least 6 out of 8 classes will receive a graduation certificate and prize!
