Come join us at Metro Recycling Facility's Education Center for a fun and engaging family learning experience. This is a semi-private time for your family to join a handful of other attendees in our vibrant learning space where you can learn about recycling while you color; play in our Early Childhood zone filled with recycling-themed toys, books, and games; explore our permanent recycling exhibit; and engage in our various simulations, including our interactive sorting station, virtual reality, and coding. Oh, and the best part - you can watch the recycling happening live through our floor-to-ceiling windows that look out onto our state-of-the-art sorting floor!

Is this experience guided?

This is a self-guided experience, but a guide will be on-site to answer any questions you may have!

Who else will be there?

This time is intended for small groups and families. You will be sharing the space with up to 35 people, but there is no group-programming component -- everyone will be exploring at their own pace!

How much does this cost?

This is a free experience!

Can I bring my daycare?

This time is intended for family-sized groups to ensure that everyone has good access to all aspects of the experience. If you have a daycare group you would like to bring to the Education Center, please fill out a Field Trip Request at mwatoday.com.

Do I have to stay the full two hours?

No! You can arrive as early as the session start time, and stay as late as the session end time, but are welcome to arrive and depart anytime in between!

What ages are best for this experience?

This experience is fun for all ages!
