For adults. Moderately strenuous 5-mile, discussion-oriented hike featuring poems by Robert Frost.

You agree when you sign up for this group or any of its events that you have read and understand the following: You are responsible to research the event, bring the proper gear (see "The Ten Essentials" below), carry a trail map and cell phone, and read the meeting directions. Do NOT rely on GPS.

DIRECTIONS: Take Route 206 to Flatbrook Road. After about 3 miles, PASS the entrance for the state forest cabins on your right, then take the NEXT RIGHT (Skellenger Rd.) Pass the bathrooms on your left, then TAKE THE NEXT RIGHT down to the lake. Up ahead, you will see a small dirt parking area on your right. Do NOT go over the bridge or through the gate to the School of Conservation.

Robert Lee Frost (March 26, 1874 – January 29, 1963)was an American poet. Known for his realistic depictions of rural life and his command of American colloquial speech, Frost frequently wrote about settings from rural life in New England in the early 20th century, using them to examine complex social and philosophical themes. - LG
