Program Description: Discover Reading Rainbow, an inclusive space where individuals can dive into literature that celebrates LGBTQIA+ voices. Explore novels, essays, articles, graphic novels, and comics crafted by and for the queer community. Participants are welcome to share their favorite works and join in thought-provoking discussions that delve into topics and issues that matter most to the queer community. Come connect, learn and celebrate the power of storytelling with us!

What books will we be reading?

As a group, we will collectively decide which books/articles/essays/comics we will read together and discuss.

Is this open for all ages?

We recommend 15+ as the content may contain sensitive topics such as homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, racism, and sexual assault. As a courtesy to all participants, we will will give a trigger warning when applicable.

What if I can't obtain the selected book of the month?

The Pomona Pride Center will be able to help whenever we can with limited quantities of books. We encourage participants to sign up for a library card, whether it be from Pomona or their local city library. Through apps such as Libby, participants may be able to check out books from their phone

How often do you meet?

2nd and 4th Wednesday! 5:00PM- 6:30PM at Pomona Valley Pride
